Tours to Hanyang Do-sung, old capital of Josun Dynasty, March 2024

Prof. Kyungja Oh led the tour to Hanyang Dosung on the 6th of March from 2-3:30 pm. The focus was on following the traces of Declaration for the Independence of Korea held on March 1st, 1919. (Korea was Japanese colony from 1910 to 1945). Five members walked through the areas like Cheondogyo Central Building and BosungSa. Major printing of the declaration was said to be done in these two places. As we walked along, we could feel the tension and the fear of being caught. How hard it must have been.
