WKIC's 8th Anniversary Celebration

On Dec. 3rd, 2o24, WKIC had a 8th Anniversary celebration at the Press Center. Over 100 people including the current and the formal National Assembly members,  foreign Ambassadors residing in Korea, old friends who shared the same purpose of gender equality and members of Welcome club gathered and enjoyed the anniversary. President Jungsook Kim made a welcoming speech introducing what WKIC have been doing and thanking for the support. In 2024, especially WKIC has done regular programs like ' walk around old capital Hanyang', 'special lectures inviting the professionals and ambassadors', and 'Tours to historic places'.   Mr. Chung Dae-Chul ,One of the guests made a congratulatory speech saying that  even though Korea runs the 10th in the world in the GDP index, gender equality still has a long way to go.  He believes that Welcome club has been making a constant effort and hopes that it will make a remarkable difference. 

After several congratulatory messages, there was a concert with three well-known singers. Such a festivity!
