Trip to Multicultural Museum located in Eunpyeong Gu

On the last day of March at 3pm, members of Welcome to Korea International Club went on a trip to Multicultural Museum located in Eunpyeong gu. Seventeen people got together and went on a tour from the 1st floor to the fifth under the guidance of the director Mr. Geert Willem. We're all very much surprised to see the collection from so many countries like Nicaragua, Kenya, Tunisia, Greece, Italy, Russia, Tagikistan, Mongolia,  Indonesia, and Thailand.  There were currencies from all over the world, and the traditional costumes as well. Geert told us one episode related to the Indonesian marriage costume. Indonesian Ambassador had given it to the center, but there was a specific way to dress it, so they had to wait for several months,  ended up getting the instruction through the internet and finally got it done.  

Due to Covid19, people weren't able to go abroad. By looking at those souvenirs, some felt nostalgic and others had some hopes to visit the places and take a trip soon. 

After 2 hours of excursion, members went to the nearby restaurant and had some delicious dinner together.
